Palliative Care & Hospice Services of MedWest Health System is hosting grief support groups in April at MedWest-Haywood and MedWest-Harris

Clyde and Sylva, N.C. – Palliative Care & Hospice Services of MedWest Health System is hosting grief support groups in April at MedWest-Haywood in Clyde and MedWest-Harris in Sylva to give community members emotional support and help them with the grief process.
The Haywood Grief Support Group will meet from 5:30 to 7 p.m. every Monday in April at the MedWest Health & Fitness Center Classroom on the MedWest-Haywood campus. These evening meetings will be April 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30.
The Harris Grief Support Group will hold brown bag lunch meetings from noon to 1 p.m. every Tuesday in April in the Chaplain’s Conference Room at MedWest-Harris. Participants should bring their own lunches if they desire. These lunchtime meetings will be April 3, 10, 17 and 24.

Palliative Care & Hospice Services of MedWest offers compassionate care for people who are terminally ill and their families and caregivers. Based on a family’s request, support may be provided emotionally, intellectually, spiritually and physically.
