MedWest Health & Fitness Center offering swim lesson discounts

CLYDE, N.C. – The MedWest Health & Fitness Center is offering discounts on private swim lesson packages to thank the community for its support of the Center’s aquatics programs.

Discounted packages include 12 30-minute private lessons for $115 for fitness center members or $150 for the general public, and 24 lessons for $195 for members and $255 for the public. 

These quarterly packages are available for a limited time. To enroll, call the Aquatics Department at (828) 452-8056.

Water safety instruction is a primary mission of the MedWest Health & Fitness Center. The Center provided the most swimming lessons in its 13-year history between October 2010 and September 2011.

The MedWest Health & Fitness Center is located at 262 Leroy George Dr. on the MedWest-Haywood campus in Clyde. The 54,000-square-foot building includes a heated swimming pool, warm water therapy pool, cardiovascular and strength training equipment, racquetball courts, indoor track, steam room and sauna. The Center offers training and education in a variety of health, wellness and fitness topics to people of all ages.
