MedWest-Swain Rehabilitation Services hosting free screenings in September and October

Bryson City, N.C. – MedWest-Swain Rehabilitation Services is hosting free balance and knee pain screenings in September and October at MedWest-Swain Rehabilitation Services on the MedWest-Swain campus in Bryson City. 

Licensed physical therapists will conduct the following free screenings and provide recommendations and next-step treatment options: 

•Balance screenings will be conducted by physical therapist Robyn Duncan from 9 to 10 a.m., Monday, Sept. 24. 

•Knee pain screenings will be conducted by physical therapist Stephen Watty from 1 to 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 3.

MedWest Rehabilitation Services include orthopedic manual physical therapy, occupational therapy, hand rehabilitation, speech-language pathology services, occupational rehabilitation, continence and pelvic dysfunction therapy, sports medicine, spine care, balance and vestibular therapy, and orthotic and foot care.
