Waynesville, N.C. – MedWest-Haywood Hospice and Palliative Care, in conjunction with Wells Funeral Home Care Connections, will host a “Hope for the Holidays” program on Tuesday, December 11 from 3-4:30 pm.

The program will take place in the Faith Classroom at First United Methodist Church in Waynesville. Anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one is encouraged to attend for fellowship and refreshments, and to learn helpful ways to cope with grief during the holiday season. Live holiday music will be provided by local musician Leslie Hipps. All community members are invited and encouraged to bring friends and family.

MedWest-Haywood Hospice and Palliative Care offers a year of bereavement support for any community member who has experienced the death of a loved one, whether or not the loved one was a MedWest-Haywood patient. Licensed, qualified bereavement specialists are available for counseling and conversation during this difficult time, and ongoing community support groups are available.
