MedWest-Harris and MedWest-Swain offering free Life’s Path cancer support groups in January
Sylva and Bryson City, N.C. – MedWest-Harris and MedWest-Swain are offering the following free Life’s Path cancer support groups in January:
- The MedWest-Swain WNC Breast Cancer Support Group, which meets the second Tuesday of every month, will meet from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 8, in the private dining room next to the cafeteria at MedWest-Swain in Bryson City.
- The Man to Man Support Group for prostate cancer patients and survivors will meet from 7 to 8 p.m., Monday, Jan. 14 in the Harris Medical Park conference room at 98 Doctors Dr. in Sylva. The group meets the second Monday of each month. Hugh Moon and Joe Hurt, MD are co-chairmen of the American Cancer Society support group.
- The MedWest-Harris WNC Breast Cancer Support Group, which meets the fourth Tuesday of every month in the Harris Medical Park conference room at 98 Doctors Dr. in Sylva, will meet from 7 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 22.

These Life’s Path Support Groups are part of MedWest’s comprehensive cancer treatment services, which include state-of-the-art diagnostic technology and advanced radiation therapy services at Mountain Regional Cancer Center in Sylva.
