MedWest-Harris and MedWest-Haywood announce Freedom From Smoking classes during October and November

Sylva and Waynesville, N.C. – MedWest-Harris and MedWest-Haywood will host a series of six classes to help employees and community members stop smoking, beginning Tuesday, October 9. 

The program, titled Freedom From Smoking, is open to the public for a $25 fee, and is free for MedWest employees. Participants will learn the benefits of quitting in an interactive small group setting, with a workbook and other informative materials provided. 

MedWest-Harris classes will take place on Tuesdays from 5-6 pm in the Harris Private Dining Room, located on the first floor of the hospital. 

MedWest-Haywood classes will take place on Tuesdays from 2-3 pm at the MedWest Health and Fitness Center.
