Available Techniques
Deep Tissue Massage
Works with deeper muscle tissue to relieve soreness, lengthen shortened muscles, increase flexibility and muscle efficiency.
Sports Massage
This massage improves performance by flushing out toxins and lactic acid created by physical activity. If injured, massage can help diminish pain and reestablish full range of motion.
Cupping
Cupping is a detoxifying technique in which glass or plastic cups are applied to the skin via suction. The vacuum created by the lack of oxygen anchors the cup to the skin and creates negative pressure. Drawing up the skin is believed to open up the skin’s pores, which helps to stimulate the flow of blood, breaks up adhesions and creates an avenue for toxins to be drawn out of the body. This is a thorough deep muscle treatment, especially good to target specific areas.
Swedish Massage
A relaxing and therapeutic full body massage of traditional long strokes and kneading techniques. Increases circulation, improves skin and muscle tone and soothes tired muscles.
Pregnancy
This massage is beneficial during all stages of pregnancy to support the health and wellbeing of you and your baby. It is helpful with low back pain and carpal tunnel.
Hot Stone
Incorporates heated basalt stones to sooth muscles and melt away stress helping you feel a deep sense of ease and relaxation. If you have muscular aches, fibromyalgia, stress, anxiety, back pain and circulation. (60 or 90 minute sessions only) * Additional Charge
Thai Massage
Tai massage involves stretching, compression and deep massage. This form of bodywork is usually performed on a comfortably padded mat on the floor, and the client wears clothes that allow for movement. * Additional Charge
Spa Treatments
All spa treatments are approximately 60 minutes
Salt Glow
Bring back your skin’s radiance! This exfoliating treatment removes dull surface skin cells and toxins, improves circulation, hydrates and provides softer, silky smooth skin. A mixture of sea salt and massage oil is applied to your body using Swedish massage techniques to exfoliate the skin. The salt is removed using warm towels, and the oil remains to help condition your dry skin. This is a total body pampering! (Please remember to not shave your legs the day of the treatment) * Additional Charge
Body Bronzer
Enjoy a professional gentle body exfoliation followed by an application of a moisturizing botanically based self-tanner with SPF 15. It is blended with natural ingredients that work well for all skin types. This tanner provides a natural, healthy sun kissed glow that lasts for days. This is a safer alternative than tanning in the sun. (Please wear loose fitting clothing and do not shower for at least 6 hours to enable maximum absorption into the skin)
* Additional Charge
Detoxifying Botanical Mud Wrap
Detox and rehydrate your skin with a botanical mud wrap. This treatment can help reduce water retention, joint pain and inflammation. Once the mud has been massaged onto your body, you will be cocooned in warmth. Relax and enjoy a scalp massage. The mud will be removed using warm towels. * Additional Charge
Cellulite Wrap
This treatment helps reduce the appearance of cellulite. Massage cupping therapy is used to increase circulation, drain toxins, and loosen adhesions in problem areas. A detoxifying gel is massaged in these areas. Your body is then wrapped to enhance the absorption. Relax and enjoy a scalp and foot massage. This is the perfect treatment to compliment with exercise for a body makeover! * Additional Charge
About your massage session
Your massage therapist will greet you at the front desk after your payment has been made. Prior to your first session, the client will fill out a medical intake form. The massage session is performed on a comfortable massage table in a private room. The client disrobes in private to the level of their comfort, and covers with a sheet before the therapist enters the room. (Massage can also be performed effectively with the client fully dressed.) The client remains draped throughout the session except for the area being worked on. It is the responsibility of the client to communicate with the therapist to ensure an enjoyable and beneficial session. Massage releases the toxins from the muscles of the body. * Remember to drink plenty of water to flush the toxins out of your body.
