MedWest Palliative Care & Hospice Services sponsoring free bereavement support group meetings in November

Waynesville and Sylva, N.C. – MedWest Palliative Care & Hospice Services is hosting the following free bereavement support group meetings in November: 

•The Men’s Only Grief Support Group meets from 9 to 10:30 a.m. the second Tuesday of each month at First Presbyterian Church at 305 Main St. in Waynesville. The November meeting is Tuesday, Nov. 13. •The Harris Monthly Grief Support Group meets from 3 to 4 p.m. every third Tuesday of the month in the Chaplain’s Conference Room at MedWest-Harris in Sylva. In November, the meeting will be held Tuesday, Nov. 20. For more information, call MedWest-Harris Hospice at (828) 586-7979.

MedWest Palliative Care & Hospice Services offers compassionate care for people who are terminally ill and their families and caregivers. Based on a family’s request, support may be provided emotionally, intellectually, spiritually and physically.
