MedWest-Harris Rehabilitation Services hosting free neck, knee, speech and swallowing screenings in May 
 
Sylva, N.C. – MedWest Health System is sponsoring free neck, knee, speech and swallowing screenings in May at MedWest-Harris Rehabilitation Services on the MedWest-Harris campus in Sylva. 
  
Licensed therapists will conduct the following screenings and provide recommendations and next-step treatment options: 

•From 11 a.m. to noon Friday, May 18, Todd Watson, DPT will conduct free neck screenings. 

•From 4 to 6 p.m., Thursday, May 24, Grant Shanks, PT will conduct free knee screenings; Beth Baxley, SLP will conduct free adult speech/swallowing screenings; and Catherine Overbay, SLP will conduct free pediatric speech/swallowing screenings. 

•From 1 to 2 p.m., Thursday, May 31, Heather Farson, PT will conduct free balance screenings.
